Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming industries by enabling data-driven decision-making, optimizing resource utilization, and fostering sustainable business models. As global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and social inequalities intensify, businesses are increasingly adopting AI to enhance sustainability across economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This paper explores the role of AI in driving sustainable business models, focusing on applications in energy efficiency, circular economy, ethical supply chains, and corporate social responsibility. Through a review of recent literature and case studies, we analyze AI’s benefits, challenges, and future trends in sustainability. The findings suggest that AI, when integrated with IoT, blockchain, and big data analytics, can significantly improve sustainability performance while addressing ethical and regulatory concerns.
