In the face of escalating environmental concerns, organizations are increasingly integrating green initiatives into their operational and strategic frameworks. This paper presents a systematic analysis of employee engagement in green initiatives, emphasizing its critical role in driving sustainable practices and achieving corporate environmental goals. Through an extensive review of peer-reviewed literature, organizational case studies, and sustainability reports, this study explores how organizational culture, leadership commitment, communication strategies, and employee empowerment influence participation in green activities. The findings reveal that employee engagement is not only a function of top-down policy mandates but also deeply rooted in intrinsic motivation, environmental awareness, and the perceived alignment between personal values and organizational sustainability objectives. Furthermore, the study categorizes various engagement practices into training programs, incentive schemes, participatory decision-making, and recognition mechanisms. It also identifies key barriers such as lack of awareness, insufficient support systems, and limited feedback channels. The analysis provides actionable recommendations for managers and sustainability officers to enhance green engagement, including fostering a pro-environmental culture, integrating green goals into performance appraisals, and promoting collaborative innovation. This research contributes to the broader understanding of sustainable human resource management and offers a roadmap for embedding environmental responsibility into employee behavior.Published
