Abstract

The integration of technology in English Language Teaching (ELT) has revolutionized pedagogical practices, particularly in the wake of digital transformation and remote learning needs. This chapter explores the innovative use of digital tools, platforms, and strategies in the ELT classroom, emphasizing their role in enhancing learner engagement, accessibility, and skill development. From mobile-assisted language learning and AI-powered applications to blended learning environments and gamification, this chapter highlights how technology supports communicative and learner-centered approaches. It also examines challenges such as the digital divide, teacher preparedness, and pedagogical alignment. Practical recommendations and case-based insights are provided to guide educators in effective implementation.
