Abstract

The ancient knowledge system and literature forms the bedrock of human intellectual and cultural evaluation which offers profound insights into societies, philosophies and beliefs of past eras. As, for example the oldest written scripture known as Vedas, served as a perfect tool for the foundation of Hindu cosmology, rituals and philosophy. So, this article tries to explore the essence of ancient knowledge systems to decode the ontology or metaphysics lying within the spaces of ancient narratorial (text) discourses. Further, by examining a critical perspective it shows narratives- mythological, historical, and literary serve as perfect vessels for preserving and transmitting diverse epistemological paradigms across generations. Finally, this article also tries to illuminate the continued relevance of ancient narratorial frameworks in uncovering the epistemic diversity of human evaluation.
