Abstract

The worldwide influence of AI in education is significant and varied, transforming traditional teaching methods and improving learning experiences in various cultural and economic settings. AI technologies such as personalised learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems, and data analytics can offer customised educational routes, enhancing student engagement and enhancing results for learners with diverse learning requirements. In wealthier nations, AI helps provide access to top-notch educational materials, allowing personalised instruction to be delivered on a larger scale in a more efficient manner. In the meantime, AI technologies in low- and middle-income areas can help fill in gaps in educational access and quality by dealing with teacher shortages and offering resources to enhance the learning environment. On the other hand, the implementation of AI in education presents important ethical issues such as privacy of data, partiality in algorithmic choices, and the risk of increasing educational disparities due to unequal technology accessibility. As artificial intelligence advances, collaboration among stakeholders such as policymakers, educators, and technology developers is necessary to create frameworks that support fair and efficient AI integration in education. By strategically implementing, continuously researching, and employing inclusive policies, we can fully utilise the transformative power of AI in education to create a more accessible, efficient, and fair global education system.
