Abstract

Indigenous knowledge means century back knowledge in different aspects of Indigenous people. Some Indigenous people forget their own language, social structure and culture etc. Every language is the store house of vast Indigenous Knowledge. Therefore, if we are interested to culture Indigenous Knowledge related to medicinal plants, we have to protect their language. If language destroyed or forgotten, the Indigenous people will forget the name of medicinal plants, body parts as well as how it can be used to treat the disease. In the present study the authors discussed in-depth about Indigenous Knowledge of tribal peoples in relation to their medicinal plants and how the disease can be cured. We have to take this Knowledge directly from the Indigenous people and to do a continuous research work.
