Abstract

With increasing globalization, mass migration, and growing mobility in modern society, multilingualism has become a widespread topic across many continents. Although multilingual teaching and learning practices are often implemented in classroom settings, issues involving assessment for multilingualism are rarely addressed. The importance of multilingual education in promoting linguistic diversity is examined in this article, along with the advantages it offers to both individuals and communities. It explores the benefits and difficulties of putting multilingual education systems into place, highlighting the necessity of finding a balance between meeting the demands of global communication and protecting linguistic history. It focuses on the importance of linguistic diversity, career benefits, impact of multilingualism on cognitive development, inclusive education, boosts national and global integration and challenges in implementing multilingual education.
