Abstract

Rapid technology advancements, digitalization, and changing work settings have made mental health and well-being in the workplace significant issues. Psychological stresses include excessive workloads, long hours, job instability, and organizational pressures can cause stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout among workers in a variety of occupations. In addition to raising absenteeism and financial cost, poor mental health has a detrimental impact on organizational performance, job satisfaction, and productivity. Employee mental health is influenced by a number of factors, such as task expectations, work-life balance, and workplace culture. Organizations are implementing employee assistance programs, stress management techniques, workplace mental health programs, technology tools, and multidisciplinary support to address these issues and foster healthier work environments.
