AI HEART CHATBOT

Abstract

Heart disease continues to be one of the leading causes of mortality world- wide. As healthcare systems move toward digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool for improving awareness, diagnosis, and preventive care. This paper introduces an intelligent conversational system called the AI Heart Chatbot, de- signed using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to offer reliable, interactive, and educational information on cardiovascular health. The chatbot integrates ChromaDB for semantic vector retrieval, LangChain for orchestration, and Google’s Gemini language model for response generation. It provides an intuitive interface via Gradio, allowing real-time user engagement. The system demonstrates the potential of AI-driven dialogue systems in health awareness by delivering accurate, context-sensitive information while ensuring ethical, non-diagnostic guidance.
