SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS THROUGH THE LENSES OF NEP 2020

Abstract

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 marks a significant milestone in India's educational landscape, aiming to transform the nation's education system by fostering environmental consciousness. NEP 2020 envisions a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to learning and environmental sustainability as the core element in shaping the green curriculum. This paper explores strategies for integrating sustainable practices, environmental literacy, and green technologies to combat through the lenses of NEP 2020. By aligning NEP 2020 with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, this paper explores how Sustainability education in India can contribute to realize NEP 2020.
