Gender and environmental education are interconnected themes crucial for fostering equity and sustainability. This chapter delves into inclusive learning approaches that integrate gender-sensitive pedagogy into environmental education, aligning with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It highlights the need to address gender disparities in environmental awareness, access, and participation, emphasizing that environmental challenges such as climate change, resource management, and ecological degradation often have gendered impacts. The chapter proposes innovative strategies to embed gender perspectives within environmental education, including participatory approaches, localized case studies, and community-centered learning. These methods aim to empower marginalized voices, particularly women and underrepresented groups, while fostering a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and solutions. Digital tools, experiential learning techniques, and interdisciplinary frameworks are explored as mechanisms to create equitable and effective learning environments. Drawing on the principles of NEP 2020, the chapter underscores the integration of sustainability and inclusivity as core educational objectives, linking these to the broader goals of social justice and global citizenship. Case studies and best practices from diverse educational settings illustrate the practical application of gender-inclusive environmental education. This chapter argues for a holistic and transformative approach that not only enhances environmental literacy but also equips learners with the skills and perspectives necessary for creating an equitable and sustainable future. By bridging gender and environmental education, it offers actionable insights for educators, policymakers, and institutions committed to implementing NEP 2020 in a meaningful and impactful way.Published
