VIABILITY OF REGIONAL RURAL BANKS IN INDIA IN LIBERAL PERIOD

Abstract

Regional Rural Bank has played a crucial role in promoting technological progress and maintaining economic stability. This study intends to examinean outline and expansion through branch expansion and amalgamation of RRBs in India and evaluate their footprint on the country’s economic growth and development and SWOT analysis. In this paper I have pointed out on the study of PESTLE framework, covering 6 factors- political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental. The findings emphasize the significance of RRB’s in India’s banking sector analysing the progress of their amalgamation and identifying obstacles through an assessment of their performance evaluation.
