The objective of this research was to examine the effect of anxiety among male and female B.P. patients. A 2×2 factorial design was used to investigate the effects of gender and blood pressure level on anxiety. The sample consisted of 60 subjects (30 males and 30 females). In this study, the Comprehensive Anxiety Scale (SCAT), developed by A. K. P. Sinha and L. N. K. Sinha, was used to obtain anxiety scores. Two-way analysis of variance was employed to analyze the data. Results of this study indicate that blood pressure level of the subject, as an independent variable, is a significant factor influencing anxiety. However, gender of the subjects was not found to be a significant factor in this study.Published
