EXPLORING THE MEDIATING ROLE OF BODY IMAGE AND THE MODERATING ROLE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING - AN INTERGENERATIONAL COMPARATIVE STUDY

Abstract

Background and Context: This study examines differences in body image (BI), emotional eating (EE), family functioning (FF), and psychological well-being (PWB) across young adulthood and middle adulthood. Additionally, it explores the mediating role of body image in the relationship between family functioning and emotional eating, as well as the moderating role of age range on the association between family functioning and psychological well-being, with reference to the Indian context.
