Abstract

India’s ancient temples are not mere structures of stone — they are vibrant embodiments of a civilization’s spiritual consciousness, philosophical depth, and artistic genius. These temples serve as the confluence where dharma, art, science, and architecture merge into a living tradition of inner realization. Indian Temples are architectural embodiments of the divine, reflecting the underlying cosmological and philosophical ideas of Jainism, Brahmanism and Buddhism (Trinity of Religion). The design and iconography of these temples are deeply based on the concept of the universe, connecting the journey of the Soul from the Earth to Cosmic order.
