Stress is a natural component of life and has a profound impact on our attitudes, feelings and behaviors on a daily basis. Stress may originate from a variety of sources, including personal hardships, career obligations and external social influences. It impacts people differently and in unique ways. This chapter aims to explore the philosophical aspects of stress management, providing a thorough investigation into how ancient wisdom, modern existentialist thought, and contemporary mindfulness practices may all offer insightful approaches to managing stress. By studying these intellectual traditions, we may start to reinterpret stress and see it as a normal part of life that can be managed with knowledge and resilience, rather than as an adversary to be conquered. The philosophical considerations may change the way we think about stress and help us develop inner calm and greater sense of purpose in life. The chapter will illustrate how philosophical viewpoint might enable people to handle stress more skillfully, promoting a more peaceful and meaningful existence, using well selected case studies and real-world related examples.Published
