Abstract

A major reaction to globalisation, technological development, and the growing interdependence of healthcare systems around the globe is the internationalisation of health education. Today, health education transcends national borders by focusing on global health issues, collaborative learning, cultural competency, and worldwide academic alliances. The idea of global perspectives in health education is examined in this chapter, along with how internationalisation helps produce qualified healthcare workers who can handle a range of medical demands. It talks about how curriculum design, student mobility, digital learning platforms, and international partnerships between educational institutions are all impacted by globalisation. The chapter also emphasises the significance of evidence-based practice, interdisciplinary approaches, and cultural sensitivity in fostering successful global health education.
