Advanced echocardiography has transformed non-invasive cardiac assessment by integrating sophisticated imaging modalities that extend well beyond conventional two-dimensional evaluation. This chapter examines the foundational principles and clinical utility of three-dimensional echocardiography, speckle-tracking echocardiography, strain imaging, stress echocardiography, and intracardiac echocardiography. Three-dimensional reconstruction enables precise volumetric quantification of cardiac chambers, facilitating more accurate assessment of ejection fraction and valvular morphology (Lang et al., 2018). Speckle-tracking echocardiography and global longitudinal strain provide sensitive, early detection of subclinical myocardial dysfunction, particularly in oncology patients undergoing cardiotoxic therapies (Plana et al., 2014; Smiseth et al., 2022). Stress echocardiography remains a cornerstone for evaluating inducible ischemia and myocardial viability (Pellikka et al., 2020). Intraoperative and intracardiac echocardiography support complex electrophysiological and structural interventions (Enriquez et al., 2018; Hahn and Khalique, 2019). Emerging artificial intelligence-driven tools are enhancing image acquisition, interpretation, and workflow efficiency (Ouyang et al., 2020). Together, these advanced modalities enable personalized, evidence-based cardiac care. This chapter synthesizes current evidence and guidelines, providing clinicians and researchers with a comprehensive understanding of advanced echocardiographic techniques, their diagnostic accuracy, practical implementation, and future directions in cardiovascular medicine.Published
