Poverty remains one of the most persistent barriers to sustainable development despite significant economic progress across the world. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 1) seeks to eradicate poverty in all its forms by promoting inclusive growth and ensuring equitable access to opportunities. Inclusive growth emphasizes economic expansion that benefits all sections of society, particularly marginalized and vulnerable populations. This chapter explores the multidimensional nature of poverty and examines strategies that can foster inclusive growth. Key approaches discussed include employment generation, quality education, financial inclusion, social protection measures, gender equality, digital empowerment, and rural development initiatives. The chapter highlights the importance of policy integration, institutional support, and public-private partnerships in reducing inequalities and promoting sustainable livelihoods. Evidence from developing economies demonstrates that inclusive growth not only reduces poverty but also enhances social cohesion and economic resilience. The chapter concludes that poverty eradication requires a comprehensive and participatory approach involving governments, communities, civil society organizations, and the private sector. By implementing inclusive growth strategies, nations can create equitable opportunities and improve the quality of life for all citizens while advancing sustainable development objectives.Published
