This study explored the attitudes of undergraduate students towards self-directed learning. For the purpose of the study, the researcher purposively selected 63 undergraduate students from Belda College, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. In this study, a qualitative research approach was followed by the researcher, and the findings revealed that most students showed negative attitudes towards the self-directed learning approach. Despite the limitations of this study, including a small sample size and self-reported responses, it provides useful insights into the learning attitudes of students.Published
