Educational institutions worldwide are undergoing rapid digital and organisational change and this change has repeatedly exposed long-standing gaps in access, opportunity and belonging among students and staff. This chapter reviews recent empirical and conceptual studies to explore educational leadership to examine how leaders across school, higher education and allied health contexts can advance equity, diversity and inclusion during periods of transformation. Evidence from studies on digital transformation in physiotherapy education, higher education institutions and high schools, alongside conceptual models of digital educational leadership, the chapter identifies recurring barriers, including unequal access to devices and connectivity, uneven digital literacy and inequitable practical learning experiences and it highlights leadership responses such as resource sharing, permeable organisational cultures and transformational dialogue. The evidence indicates that inclusive outcomes are not an automatic by-product of technology adoption but depend on leaders who deliberately design policy, culture and practice around the needs of disadvantaged groups. The chapter closes with implications for leadership development and future research.Published
