Digitalization has changed how organizations work. Technology-driven leadership is now essential for long-term success. This chapter looks at the link between digital transformation and leadership. It argues that technology alone cannot drive real organizational change. Change needs leaders who are forward-thinking, adaptable and skilled with technology. Drawing on management and leadership research, this chapter explains digital transformation as a planned shift in business processes, organizational culture and customer value, not just a technical upgrade. It also outlines the key skills leaders need: digital literacy, strategic agility, collaborative decision-making, emotional intelligence and the ability to manage change well. The chapter also covers common problems leaders face, such as employee resistance, skill gaps, cybersecurity risks and limited resources. It then offers practical advice on building effective digital leadership in organizations today. Overall, the chapter shows that as technology and organizations keep changing together, leaders in healthcare, education and business must focus on people. This means leading with empathy and ethical decision-making, so they can handle a fast-changing and complex environment.Published
