Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies are transforming societies, economies, and governance by introducing innovative approaches to problem-solving, automation, and decision-making. The rapid advancement of machine learning, deep learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, robotics, cloud computing, big data analytics, and generative AI has significantly influenced industries such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, agriculture, finance, and public administration. These technologies improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery while creating new opportunities for innovation and sustainable development. However, their widespread adoption also raises concerns regarding ethical governance, privacy, cybersecurity, algorithmic bias, employment displacement, and unequal access to digital infrastructure. The responsible integration of AI therefore requires comprehensive policy frameworks, transparent governance, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous skill development.
