MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES IN NEP 2020: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN INDIA

India has a long history of holistic and multidisciplinary education, which is demonstrated by the numerous Indian literatures that blend studies from different fields and universities like Takshashila and Nalanda. The multidisciplinary approach mentioned in the NEP 2020 is a new and innovative approach in the field of education that will take India’s education towards a lot of improvement. This study explored the previous policies of NEP2020 and NEP 2020, the multidisciplinary approach according to NEP 2020, opportunities and challenges of multidisciplinary approach of NEP 2020 etc. in India. It was a qualitative approach of study and the data were collected mainly from the secondary sources. It was also investigated the opportunities and challenges of multidisciplinary approach according to India’s National Education Policy 2020. It was also explored the multidisciplinary approach and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasize the integration of various disciplines in education to enhance accessibility and quality of learning for all learners. The adoption of NEP 2020 has the potential to improve academic education standards throughout India, according to the complete study.Published
