TRANSFORMING INDIA'S WORKFORCE: THE IMPACT OF NEP 2020 ON SKILL ENHANCEMENT AND JOB CREATION

Abstract

This paper examines the critical challenges and opportunities in the impact of NEP 2020 on skill enhancement and job creation in India. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to change India's education system and workforce. The study analyses the policy's key provisions, initiatives, problems and explores case studies of successful implementation. The findings suggest that NEP 2020 has the possible to enhance skills and opportunity for jobs, but effective implementation and industry-academia partnerships are crucial. Future scope is that incorporate more skill-based and capacity building initiatives be taken for job opportunities for the new genre.
