Abstract

In psychology, the meaning of motivation is derived from the word that conveys an idea of an action. In common language, motivation is called inspiration or the motivating power to do any work. This motivating power can be given to the child by his parents, teacher or anyone else. In fact, motivation plays an important role in human life because motivation is the main basis of all human activities and psychology. Motivation is always present in human activities and human psychology directly or indirectly. This motivating power is present in every aspect of a person, whether it is personal, collective, social, ethnic, national etc. The behaviour or work in which the person's interest, purpose or goal is contained, no matter what type it is, motivating power is definitely found in it. Whatever field a person goes into and whatever work he does, motivation plays an important role in it. Therefore, achieving success in our life depends on motivation. Motivation is considered the 'heart of learning'. Some motives have a role in controlling human behaviour, showing the right path and transforming it. If a person is hungry, he searches for food because hunger is a motive and this motive is necessary for him to search for food. It provides energy and thus motives are called the 'raw material of human nature'. Motive is innate. That is why it does its work in the form of human behaviour.
