Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is an educational approach that integrates students' diverse cultural backgrounds into the learning process, promoting inclusivity and engagement. This chapter explores the theoretical frameworks and psychological perspectives underpinning CRT, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging cultural diversity in the classroom. Key strategies for implementing CRT include building meaningful relationships, designing inclusive curricula, and employing differentiated instruction to cater to varied learning needs. However, educators often face challenges such as systemic inequities, insufficient professional development, and personal biases that hinder the effective implementation of CRT practices. Addressing these barriers is crucial for fostering equitable learning environments that validate students' identities and promote academic success. This chapter highlights the ongoing commitment required from educators to adapt and reflect on their practices to meet the needs of diverse learners. By prioritizing CRT, educators can contribute to a more just and equitable educational system, preparing all students for success in a multicultural world.Published
