The present perspective in contemporary neuroscience, which frames emotions as sources of insightful information about our surroundings rather than as obstacles or disturbances of logical thought, is reflected in emotional intelligence (EI). A collection of social and emotional abilities known as emotional intelligence (EI) which affects how we view and express ourselves, build and preserve social bonds, overcome obstacles, and make meaningful and efficient use of emotional information. This paper's theoretical framework enables us to go deeper into the subject of its history and associated theories (Salovey and Mayer, 1990; Spielberger, 2004). Here, an effort is made to emphasize the salient features of various theoretical perspectives and the ways in which emotional intelligence is applied in various domains.Published
