Education, an utmost necessity can be gruelling to pursue for students of that sector of society who wish to excel in other fields or are differently abled. Homeschooling, as the name suggests, is the kind of education or schooling that a student is provided with at home, which mostly involves a one-on-one interaction with the tutor. On the other hand, traditional schooling involves structured learning in a physical environment that involves social interaction. This type of formal education includes both the private and public schools. Though it is important for us to note that taking up traditional schooling is not an abnegation of comfort but a mere choice based on individual decision and needs. We can notice that there are many who voluntarily take up homeschooling over the traditional setting. It is to be noted that there are differences ranging from the slightest nuances to the highest of personality and behavioural variances among children. From the various studies carried out, there have been significant differences between those homeschooled and traditionally schooled in terms of their emotional intelligence, social intelligence, self-concept, assertive behaviour, etc.Published
