ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: A CATALYST FOR HUMAN CREATIVITY

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly become an integral part of our daily lives, transforming various aspects of society and creating new opportunities and possibilities. It drives innovation, fosters progress, and brings inspiration, meaning, and brilliance to our world. AI offers a unique combination of insights and inspiration that can unlock new realms of creativity. It serves as a catalyst for expansive thinking, challenging traditional boundaries and assumptions of the human mind. By presenting data, patterns, correlations, and alternatives that may not be immediately evident, AI stimulates the kind of creative thinking that is essential to human cognition. This ability to think in a non-linear, multi-dimensional way encourages individuals to move beyond their usual mental biases and viewpoints, promoting innovative problem-solving and creative exploration. The introduction of ChatGPT has ignited significant interest in the role of creativity. This article explores how AI serves as a boon for human creativity by enhancing, augmenting, and even replicating creative processes across multiple domains. Creativity is a core aspect of human intelligence. In this article, we explored how AI methods can be applied to generate new concepts in four distinct ways: micro creativity in learning; subtle creativity; expert creativity, and exceptional creativity. Creativity, frequently celebrated as a defining trait of human intelligence, involves the capacity to produce original ideas, solutions, and artistic works that go beyond the limits of reason and tradition.
