Abstract

The transforming effect of meditation as a universal method that incorporates the development of life skills across various cultural contexts is examined in this chapter. With its origins in ancient Indian philosophy, yoga has spread around the world and is now a popular practice that promotes mental, emotional, and physical health. The chapter looks at how yoga helps develop critical life skills like self-awareness, empathy, resilience, and emotional intelligence. It illustrates how traditional traditions are modified to satisfy modern demands in digital spaces, offices, and education by a cross-cultural perspective. The conversation also covers issues like diversity, cultural appropriation, and preserving authenticity in its international distribution. Yoga shows its value as a comprehensive framework for societal harmony, professional progress, and personal improvement in a linked society by fusing tradition and modernity.
