Teacher empowerment and capacity building are integral components of the transformative educational vision outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. Both policies emphasize the critical role of teachers in shaping holistic, inclusive, and quality education. NEP 2020 prioritizes continuous professional development (CPD), autonomy, and the integration of technology to enable educators to navigate 21st-century challenges. Similarly, NCF-SE 2023 highlights the importance of enhancing pedagogical skills, fostering teacher autonomy, and creating supportive work environments. Despite these forward-thinking frameworks, challenges such as limited access to professional development opportunities, financial constraints, and regional disparities hinder their effective implementation. Addressing these challenges requires a coordinated approach to ensure that teachers have the necessary tools, resources, and support to succeed. This paper explores the strategies for empowering teachers and building their capacity, aiming to transform the educational landscape and fulfil the goals of NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023.Published
