ROLE OF NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020 IN EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, habits, and personal development. Education originated as the transmission of cultural heritage from one generation to the next. The need for a new education policy was felt in the country for a long time. Three national education policies have been introduced in India till now. These three education policy 1968, and National Education Policy 2020. The objective of the New Education Policy 2020 is to make India a global knowledge superpower. All policies have the most important role in the education system. Education is the backbone of all development.
