Abstract

In contemporary decades the mindfulness has came into view as a generative practice within the realm of modern psychology which is extreme level accumulating widespread attention for its extreme influence on mental health and overall quality of life (QoL) and explored as the ability to be complete existing and have a prior engagement in the current moment with nonjudgmental perspectives as the mindfulness draws from ancient contemplative traditions, specifically (Buddhism), and has been adapted into secular practices used in therapeutic and self-care contexts which therefore explores the rise of mindfulness in psychological practices, focus attention on its role in magnifying the quality of life and encoraging mental health. The chapter also explores how mindfulness improves the quality of life (QoL) by stimulating positive mental states such as compassion, gratitude, and resilience also it cultimates how these qualities can be put up to greater life satisfaction and overall well-being. Moreover, mindfulness is also shown to increase cognitive functions such as observation, remembrance, and answerable, further encouraging the individual's capacity to determine the direction of the complications of coming life challenges in modern psychology era.
