The "Level of Learning - Memory, Understanding, and Reflective" research delves at the many facets of cognitive processing and how they affect learning outcomes. This study explores the ways in which memory, understanding, and reflective thinking interact to influence the process of learning. Understanding is constructed on the basis of memory, which includes both short- and long-term retention. Making the shift from rote memory to meaningful understanding is essential since it calls for integrating new information with previously learned concepts to develop a cohesive mental model. In turn, comprehension makes it easier to apply information to new contexts, which improves critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A higher-order cognitive process called reflective learning entails analysing and assessing one's own mental models and methods of learning.Published
