Abstract

E-learning platforms are the inevitable parts of education sector in this digital era. In Indian scenario higher education is one of the levels where e-learning is mostly needed. These online platforms have totally changed the life of Indians specially in higher education. This chapter wants to find out the current situation of e-learning platforms in India special focus on Higher Education. It also tried to explore the advantages and challenges in India. The author finds out that in Higher Education of India e-learning learning is the most popular ways to learn for students and educators both.
