Abstract

Positive psychology shifts the focus from treating mental illness to enhancing strengths, resilience, and well-being. This paper highlights foundational theories like Seligman’s PERMA model and Csikszentmihalyi’s flow theory and explores applications in education, workplace, healthcare, and technology. Practices such as mindfulness, gratitude, and strengths-based approaches improve resilience, happiness, and productivity. Culturally sensitive adaptations enhance global relevance, especially in post-pandemic recovery. Recommendations emphasize longitudinal studies, cross-cultural research, mindful technology use, and inclusive public well-being programs.
