Social responsibility is a fundamental principle that promotes ethical behaviour, civic engagement, environmental sustainability, and community development. It ensures that individuals, organizations, and governments contribute to societal well-being. Educational institutions play a key role in fostering social responsibility through value-based education, sustainability initiatives, and community engagement. Teachers, as mentors, instill ethical awareness and encourage students to participate in social causes. Government policies like Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and the National Service Scheme (NSS) institutionalize social responsibility, promoting inclusivity and sustainability. By embracing ethical practices and social awareness, societies can address global challenges such as poverty, inequality, and climate change. Ultimately, social responsibility is a shared commitment that fosters a just, inclusive, and environmentally conscious world.Published
