Abstract

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) into supply chain management (SCM) is transforming the way businesses approach efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making. IoT technologies enable real-time tracking, monitoring, and management of goods and assets across the supply chain, leading to enhanced operational visibility and faster response times. By connecting devices, sensors, and systems, IoT facilitates the automation of key processes such as inventory management, route optimization, and predictive maintenance. The result is an agile supply chain capable of responding to disruptions swiftly, improving customer satisfaction, and reducing operational costs. This paper explores the applications of IoT in supply chain management, highlighting its role in optimizing performance, fostering transparency, and enabling end-to-end visibility. Additionally, the paper examines the challenges and opportunities in implementing IoT within SCM, offering insights into future trends and technological advancements.
