DIGITAL PEDAGOGY: ENSURING ACCESSIBILITY FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

Abstract

Digital pedagogy is the branch which deals with the access to current techniques, content, education with the use of information technology and the internet. But there are some constraints to implement this in teaching and learning such as technical assistance, access for disabled people. Ensuring accessibility for disabled students is very crucial with integration of digital pedagogy in learning. During designing of online learning, designers should keep a few things in mind for ensuring accessibility for disabled people. There are various types of disability and the ways for ensuring accessibility for those will be different. In this chapter, we will make you aware about the different ways of making online learning accessible for disabled students.
