Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital age, digital literacy has become a fundamental skill for individuals to navigate and thrive in modern society. It encompasses the ability to access, evaluate, and effectively use digital technologies, ensuring informed decision-making and responsible online behaviour. The increasing integration of technology in education, business, and governance necessitates a shift towards technology-driven learning, fostering adaptability and critical thinking. The digital divide remains a significant challenge, as disparities in access to digital tools hinder socio-economic progress. Bridging this gap requires targeted initiatives in infrastructure development, digital education, and policy reforms. Educational institutions play a vital role in equipping students with media literacy, enabling them to discern credible information, combat misinformation, and engage responsibly in online platforms.
