BLENDED LEARNING: COMBINING TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL APPROACHES

Abstract

Blended learning is transforming the educational landscape by integrating traditional classroom methods with digital learning tools to offer a more flexible, personalized, and engaging learning experience. This paper explores the principles, models, benefits, and challenges of blended learning, emphasizing its potential to enhance student outcomes and prepare learners for the demands of the 21st century. Various models of blended learning, such as the rotation model, flex model, enriched virtual model, and flipped classroom, are discussed. The paper highlights key advantages, including personalization, increased engagement, and data-driven instruction, while also addressing critical challenges like the digital divide, teacher training, and student self-regulation.
