Abstract

Counselling is a series of direct conduct with an individual which aims to offer him/her assistance in changing his/her attitude and behaviour towards betterment. In this stuffy era of envious attitude and overburdened, hectic lifestyle, we all are actually longing for a happy and fulfilling life which would foster our meaningful existence in this world through sustaining our goodness above all the trivialities that we face in many aspects of our lives every day. This article basically tries to reflect more on the pros and cons of three vital concepts such as Eudaimonia, Adversity Quotient (AQ) and Milieu Therapy which may contribute a lot in the counselling process for the holistic development of an individual. Through this article it is being explored that all the concepts of eudaimonia, adversity quotient as well as milieu therapy are extensively interlinked as they share a major goal/ aim i.e. promoting virtuous human development and flourishing along with human well-being.
