Abstract

According to the great philosopher Plato a good life involves living in harmony with one's inner nature and understanding the true nature of reality. To do this, one must overcome negative emotions such as anger and greed and embrace truth and knowledge. According to Aristotle, education is the creation of a sound mind in a sound body. Education helps to develop man's faculty, especially his mind so that he is happy and is able to fulfil his aspirations and goals. For Aristotle, the good life is one in which we develop and exercise the distinctive human ability to think and act rationally. Such a life, on Aristotle's view, is a happy or flourishing life Wikipedia states that the skills that can help a person to interact efficiently and effortlessly in life are to be termed as life skills and include skills that can be under social grace, interpersonal behaviour, leadership ability, time management, cognitive skill, ability to communicate, linguistic ability. A key aspect of guidance and counselling is fostering self-awareness and self-confidence, empowering to take control of their lives and make informed choices.
