This chapter examines the profound impact of sports globalization on cultural exchange and identity transformation in the contemporary world. Through a comprehensive analysis of historical developments, economic dynamics, and sociocultural implications, the study reveals how sports have evolved from localized cultural practices to powerful vehicles of global connectivity and cultural transformation. The research demonstrates that sports globalization operates through complex networks of influence, challenging traditional narratives of cultural imperialism while fostering new forms of cultural expression and identity formation. Drawing on case studies from various sporting contexts, including the NBA's expansion into China and the global diffusion of soccer, the chapter illustrates how athletic practices adapt and transform across cultural boundaries.Published
