The vision of Viksit Bharata 2047 calls for a prosperous, inclusive, and technologically advanced India, where human development and educational reforms play a central role. Teacher education, as the foundation of knowledge dissemination, must align with this national vision to create skilled, empowered, and socially conscious educators. This paper examines the role of teacher education in realizing the goal of Viksit Bharata by 2047, focusing on the alignment of pedagogical reforms with national development. The study explores the current state of teacher education, identifies the challenges, and offers recommendations for transforming teacher training in alignment with the socio-economic and technological aspirations of India.Published
