THE LOST CHILDHOOD: AN OVERVIEW ON THE LIVES OF CHILDREN IN THE ERA OF GLOBALIZATION OF 21ST CENTURY

Abstract

Globalization in the 21st century has brought many blessing in the lives of every person in this world but at the same time it becomes a curse in the lives of children. Globalization gives us technology, internet as well as artificial intelligence. Children are the blooming buds of the society but with the excessive use of this social media their mental health is destroyed. In this era of advancement many internal and external problems have affected the lives of the children in such a way that childhood is almost gone from their lives. This paper mainly focuses on the role of childhood in the lives of children and how globalization is affecting the childhood and at the end what should be the role of governments are described. Finally, this paper also explores childhood as the pioneer stage for a person’s holistic development.
