Abstract

This article explores the role of mentoring in fostering a collaborative learning environment and enhancing educational outcomes. Mentoring, as a supportive facilitation of learning and development, plays a key role in teacher education by promoting interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills among both mentors and mentees. Effective mentoring programs are grounded in theoretical frameworks such as social constructivism and social learning, which emphasize the importance of collaborative learning and mutual respect. In the context of teacher education, mentoring supports the development of teacher professional identity and ensures classroom readiness. Furthermore, mentoring is linked to improved well-being and professional development for both mentors and mentees, highlighting its bidirectional benefits. This article will ferret into the mechanisms by which mentoring creates synergies between teachers and students, enhancing academic success and motivation.
