Abstract

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a crucial factor in shaping students' academic success and social development. It encompasses the ability to recognize, understand, manage, and express emotions effectively, enabling students to navigate challenges, build meaningful relationships, and enhance overall well-being. Research indicates that students with higher emotional intelligence perform better academically, as they can regulate stress, maintain focus, and demonstrate resilience in the face of adversity. Furthermore, EI plays a significant role in social interactions, helping students develop empathy, improve communication skills, and foster positive relationships with peers and educators. The modern education system primarily emphasizes cognitive intelligence, often neglecting the importance of emotional intelligence. However, integrating EI development into school curricula can lead to improved learning outcomes and healthier social environments.
