Sustainable development (SD) is an essential requirement in all fields. The educational system is increasingly relying on innovation and research in education for sustainable development. One essential element of SD that can assist in creating a mechanism of achieving its stated goal is education. The concept of SD is not new to society. Understanding the notion and concept of SD in a non-academic situation has been the subject of lengthy arguments in practically every academic institution. The development of the values, attitudes, abilities, and knowledge necessary to create a sustainable future is a key component of the educational strategy known as Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).ESD seeks to provide students the autonomy to take action and make deliberate decisions that will promote sustainability and solve pressing global concerns and limitations, such as social injustice, biodiversity loss, and climate change.Published
